AT THE AIRPORT

Check-in desks

Bucharest airport is a large sized airport. In the terminal used by Dacii România, there are 80 counters. Counters 20 to 60 are reserved for Dacii România. Counters from 20 to 37 register flights to Europe. The desks 38 to 42 take charge of flight to America, desks 43 to 47, flights to Africa. Finally, desks 48 to 55 are for flights to Asia and counters from 56 to 60 are for Oceania. Other desks will be added at the same way the airline grows. On every destination, a desk is exclusive to passengers who had booked a place Carpaţi class.

Luggage

With Dacii România. you are entitled to 23kg of luggage per person. For each kilogram exceeding, you will have to pay a fine of 20$ (65 lei). The passengers of Carpaţi class are entitled to 30kg per person. Carry-on baggage must be of a size of 50 cm long by 30 cm wide and 30 cm max. If the measures do not respond to those measures, you will either have to put it in the hold or buy a ticket at half price to put your luggage.

The boarding

There are 60 boarding gates in the international terminal of Bucharest airport. You will be called to get on the plane according to your seat number. More the seat is at the back of the aircraft, faster you will get onboard. The passengers in Carpaţi and Floreasca classes board first. ** If you are a person with reduced mobility, present yourself at the first call and crew will help you to get onboard.

Duty Free

At the airport, there are many duty-free shops, where you can buy a lot of things. These are shops where taxes are exempted. In addition to the Romanian Leu, Euro and American Dollar are accepted.

Liquids

The law in force in the world is also in Romania and in Europe regarding liquids. Indeed, a 1 liter bag will be given where you have to put ALL your containers of liquids (shampoo, perfume, Purell...). Water bottles must be discarded at the time of boarding.
